Bertha "Bert" Harford, 78, of Redfield, died April 16, 1995 at the Eastern Star Home in Redfield.
Funeral services will be held Wednesday, April 19 at 2 p.m. at the First Congregational Church, Redfield, with Rev. Fred Sprenger officiating. Organist will be Jackie Jensen with special music by Tom Wagner. Burial will be in Greenlawn Cemetery, Redfield.
Pallbearers are Clark Roeber, Tom Wagner, Douglas Roeber, Tim Badger, Monte McCuen, Rick Jensen and Mark Baumberger.
She was born December 23, 1916 in Tulare, to August and Martha (Otto) Roeber.
She graduated from Redfield High School in 1938, then worked for the Department of Agriculture in Redfield until retiring in 1973.
She married Wendell Harford on October 3, 1948 at Redfield. They spent all their summers at their cottage at Cottonwood Lake.
"Bert" was a member of the American Legion Auxiliary and the First Congregational Church.
She is survived by two brothers, Vernon Roeber and Paul Roeber of Redfield; three sisters, Evelyn Wagner and Leona Tubandt, both of Redfield; and Mrs. Harold (Bernadine) Schultz of Pierre.
She was proceeded in death by her husband who died in 1993, her parents and one brother.
