William (Bill) Block, 69, passed away March 12, 2012, in Minneapolis, MN.

He was the son of Arnold and Elma (Mohne) Block. He grew up in Yankton, was baptized and confirmed at Trinity Lutheran Church and attended school in Yankton. He moved to Minneapolis in 1963, where he worked until he was disabled. He married Jo Ann Arko in 1968 and had two daughters. He enjoyed fishing, hunting and trapshooting.

Survivors include daughters Sheila (Greg) White and Sherry (Hosea) Rubio; mother Elma Block; grandchildren: Evan, Estaban and Mario Rubio, and Presley White; one brother, Ron Block; sisters: Karen (John) Schoenfelder and Barb McDonald.

He was preceded by his father, Arnold Block, four uncles and one aunt.
