Hi Joe,
I am very much interested in what you have about the Johnstons. Can you scan it or do you need my snail mail. It is RR1 Box 52C, Farmer City, Illinois, 61842. Thank you in advance.
I have hit a brick wall with the Rowan's. My gr gr gr grandfather John Hamilton Johnston married Keziah Rowan. Keziah was a twin, her brother Josiah married John's sister Esther Johnston. Keziah and Josiah's mother was Rebecca Ann, father Charles Green Rowan according to a biography from Sweetwater by author Sands. Rebecca is buried in a Walker Cemetary close to Sweetwater. No information on Charles except he was in the Rev War under an alias. Why would that be?
I am wondering if Mary Rowan was a sister to Charles. Do you know anything about Mary? Thanks Becky
