Searching for info on my ggg-grandfather, Joshua Taylor, born 1800 VA. Married Sarah Kelsey ca. 1826 and lived in Bledsoe Co, TN from then until late 1859 when they migrated into Wayne Co, KY. After that, they moved to the Taylor/Marion/Casey County area of KY. Joshua remarried after 1860 to Amanda Blankenship and had Martha and Ike. His children with Sarah: Lewis, Alexander L, Mary Ann "Polly", Elizabeth Jane, Margarett, James David, Thomas, William C. and Henry Clay. Sarah went by Sally and Joshua was known as Joe. Believe they may have lived in Blount County before moving into Bledsoe. Any info appreciated - have lots to share about descendants. My Taylors tended to travel with my Hale family. I descend from John Hale who once lived in Blount County - Rev. War veteran who died in Bledsoe County, TN around 1845.
