I have several photgraphs of people in front of the Mt Ararat Church of Christ, and more from the adjoinging school. I have a church photo from the late 1890's and another from abt 1917 or so.
This area was in District 10 of Cannon county on what they now call Pea Ridge, right on the Dekalb county line, and not far from Gassaway.
Some of the surnames in the photographs include Ferrell, Smithson, Mcgee, Patterson, Shehane and Braswell. Many others are not identified. I will be willing to send these via e-mail to whoever may want them.
