In 1828, the Weedon and Colvert families migrated from Culpeper, VA to Warren Co, TN, settling in an area that later became Cannon Co, TN.

I am looking for anyone that may be aware of a journal or diary that anyone on the journey may have kept.

The Surnames listed are the spouses of the children of Augustine Weedon and Elizabeth Farmer Weedon. Some married in Culpeper and traveled to TN with the Weedons. Others married after moving to TN, but their spouses parents could have been part of this migration.

I am looking for the size of the party, the participants, and the reason for leaving VA and migrating West. Any assistance would be appreciated.
