I'm at a dead end on my TUBBS line, and am hoping those with Cannon Co. books would be willing to look and see if there are some clues they could throw my way.

Working Theory:
James Monroe Tubbs b. 1854 was moving to Missouri in 1860 with mother Mary (Ross) Tubbs and siblings Adaline and Isaac Tubbs, and missed that census. In 1850 in Cannon Co. Mary and Adaline are both listed as ROSS in home of Mastin/Martin Ross.

Found an abstract of Will Book "A" in Cannon CO. that contains an entry for Moses Tubb d. 1856 and references an Adaline and Monroe Ross w/o relationship. Lot of name and location overlap with my data here, so am really wanting this will play out into something. Other names unknown to me also listed.

Worth noting: James Monroe went by Monroe a lot of the time; Surname variation may include TUB, TUBB, TUBS, TUBBS
