I think I can help you a wee bit. I have access to the cemetery transcription for McKnight-Wright cemetery located in Rutherford County. Your Jarrett Lasalle Smith's headstone is there and looks like a son is also interred near him. Ida Wright Smith, wife of Jarrett, died in 1910 but I found no headstone that was identififed in the transcription.
