Daniel Harrison, eldest son of Elias, married Elizabeth Weaver. I found a clue through Amory Hale that Daniel Weaver, a Cherokee chief had a doughter named Elizabeth and a son named Craven. Campbell County Deed Book W, Page 97
James Parker & Wife Deed to Enoch Moore

Personally appeared before me, William Carry Clerk of Campbell County,
Ellander Day and Elizabeth J Parker depose and say that they are
acquanted with James Parker and Celety Parker the above named and Celety
Parker the ??? Court having also personally apeared before me and apart
from her husband the said James Parker, ackowledge the execution of said
deed to have been done by her freely and understanding without
complusion or restraint from said husband July 1, 1853 Between James
Parker and his wife Celety Parker, formerly Celety Harrison of the first
part of the county of Campbell and Enoch Moore of the second part of the
county of Claiborne the said James Parker and Wife Celety Parker,
formerly Celety Harrison, for and in consideration of the sum of $50.25
sold unto said Enoch Moore all our undisputed interest as heirs at law
of Elias Harrison in a tract of land which said Elias willed to his
heirs lying in the county of Claiborne supposed to contain 40 acres more
or less.

Attest

Ellander (her mark) Day James Parker

Elizabeth J, (her mark) Parker Celety (her mark) Parker"

A little explanation, Elias Harrison died in 1836 and his son-in-law,
Enoch Moore, was named executor. Because one of Elias' sons, Daniel
Harrison had moved to Kentucky and died, Enoch had to file a suit in
Kentucky to settle the estate. The 40 acres more or less is probably a
32 acre tract that Elias claimed along the Clinch river in 1813. Elias
lived on this property and acquired several hundred acres of land around
it over a 17 year period. Elias was a trustee of the county from 1818 to
1836. One of his documented activities was the consruction of roads in
the county.

Based upon the above transaction there can be no doubt that Celety
Harrison is the wife of James P Parker. Also note that the 1850 census
lists Eleanor(sic) Day as a boarder with James and Celety as well as
their daughter Elizabeth. As an aside, I have found census takers to be
very unreliable about correct spelling of names.

On 18 Jan 1833 when Celity was 25, she married James Prior PARKER Sr., M, in Campbell Co., TN. Born abt 1806 in NC. James Prior died abt 1862; he was 56. Occupation: Lived In Campbell Co., TN.

We think it possible that Jeremiah Roark lived in Tazewell, Claiborne Co., TN next to Enoch Moore. His daughter Sarah married a Moore. We think now that Sarah’s husband was a nephew of Enoch Moore. The story is that Parton/Partian Moore came to visit his cousins & Sarah married him approx. 1858. This means that Sarah didn’t go to MO with her father. Parton/Partian was a Colonel in the Confederate Army & died just 2 weeks before Sarah did in 1863. He owned slaves & they took the children, a boy Douglas P. Moore & baby sister into the woods & saved them from the
Civil War troops that were raiding the farm. Upon Sarah’s death the baby girl died from lack of food. Douglas was taken to MO to live with his grandfather Jeremiah via the underground railroad by a slave woman.

They had the following children:
i. Douglas Penepty, M. Born on 10 Jul 1860 in TN. Douglas Penepty died in Springfield, Greene Co., MO, on 29 Nov 1950; he was 90. Buried in Greenlawn Cem., Springfield, Greene Co., MO. Occupation: Had Married Nancy Tibitha Leoni Ford & Had Sarah E. (Cameron) B. 3-31-1889 + 5 More Children.
