Thanks for your reply and the information--I can use all the help I can get. Boy, the things that we find out in genealogy...I had not heard Phillip's name was on somebody else's gravestone. I have, however, heard of one genealogist who went crazy looking for the ancestors and when he could not ever find them, he just went out to the cemetery and had some gravestones made up with fictitious names and dates on them! I know this really happened because I was at the family reunion when it was told--it created a split in the family that has lasted til now...I am still looking for my Robinson/Ausmus connection--I know it is somewhere and has to be around 1800 to work out timewise for my gg-grandfather was born 1825. I know that somewhere an Ausmus lady married a Robinson man--or she could have had an Ausmus grandparent...that is what I am looking for. Thanks for your help! I am looking at the Bolingers because they intermarried with the Ausmus family...I do not know Chaterina's last name...
