Owen LANE was on the 1800 and 1810 census records for Guilford Co, TN. He then moves to Davidson Co, TN by 1820. He appears to have a close relationship to the OZMENT family of Guilford Co, NC and Wilson Co, TN. Trying to prove that Nancy Ann LANE, born abt. 1801 in NC, was his daughter. Nancy married Alfred OZMENT in Davidson Co, TN in 1823. Other possible children for Owen are Denny, Thomas, and Owen LANE, Jr. of Davidson Co, TN. Who was Owen's wife?

RW PENSION APPLICATION FOR OWEN LANE:

He was born 1755 in Caroline Co, MD. After the war, he moved to Guilford Co, NC and then to Nashville, Davidson Co, TN. Application for pension was rejected because he "did not serve six months in person." He was aged 77 at the time of application, 17 Oct 1832. (SOURCE: Marylanders to Caroline, Henry C.
