I know this is a real long shot, but I'm stumped!! Does anyone out there have information on a William Robert Gray? I can't find anything on who his parents were. He was born in May, 1858 in TN, and was shot and killed in Nashville TN on his birthday in 1914. His first marriage was to Ida Marrs in 1885. Then he married a "Mrs. Smith, a woman with a grown daughter" . This came from a newspaper article about his death. They were married in 1910 or later, and lived in Rutherford County TN for a while. At the time of his death, they were separated and working on a reconciliation. His wife had a boarding house in Nashville at the time, and he was a blacksmith. The man who shot him was Earl Taylor. This is basically all the information I have. Can anyone help?
