I am looking for John Daniel Taylor born in 1859 (even though, his tombstone reads 1861) and died in 1913 (the only year without death certificates). His wife was Francis Anderson Tucker (Fannie, daughter of Alex Tucker and Mary Jane Camp, granddaughter of George Washington Tucker. For some reason, the family thinks John's parents were Tom and Nancy Melton Taylor. I think this is accurate, but rather than Melton, I think Nancy was the daughter of Clement Murphy. I think Tom was the son of Nancy Crow and Tom Taylor. My Tom Taylor was killed in around 1865 by bushwackers. nancy his wife died in around 1870 to 1880. John Daniel and brother Albert Houston were living with cousin, Dr. Lycurgus Gates in 1880. I think brother William was living with Delilah Yarbro. All three boys moved to Pemiscot Co. MO where they worked and resided with Lavinia King Whittenton, widow of John Whittenton. Lavinia and Albert Houston Taylor married and had two girls. I think William married Minnie Wallace. John may have been married at one time to a Fannie Burgess. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Kim
