Smith, wife, age 26, with their son J.R. Smith, age 3. Also shown is Nancy Allen, age 21, who later marries Roger Mitchell "Mitch" Gibson, son of Amanda Tracy Gibson of Perry County. Other Allens in Decatur County include R.P.'s grandsons James, Tom and Grover Cleveland "Cleve" Allen. James operated J.E. Allen's Shoe Hospital in Parsons, TN until 1934.
