I'm hoping to find someone who is willing to do a lookup of court records in Dyer County. I have reason to believe that there was a court dispute, or difficulty in deed settlement, among the children after the death of John S. Brandon (b. abt 1795, d. bet 1840-1850 Dyer, TN) of Dyer County. I am hoping to make the connection between my gGrandmother Nancy Elizabeth Brandon and her parents, John S. Brandon and Rebecca Smith Brandon (b. abt 1800, d. after 1850 Dyer, TN).

Nancy E. Brandon (b. 1839 TN) married Benjamin Franklin Sumerow/Sumrow of Lauderdale County, TN about 1857. He died in 1869. She remarried to Isaac Winston in 1873. I'm not certain when the dispute took place. Can anyone help me to find this information? I'd be eternally grateful!
