Jentzen Wessendorf, 96, of Cincinnati, OH, formerly of Monroe, were conducted at 11 p.m. Wednesday,
April 16, 2008, from the chapel of Speck Funeral Home with Bro. Kerry Duke officiating. Burial was in
Booher Cemetery in Monroe. Mrs. Wessendorf died Saturday, April 12 at Christ Hospital in Cincinnati.
She worked for a meat-packing company. Born June 10, 1911, in Pickett County, she was the daughter
of the late Robert C. and Nancy (Booher) Hill. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by
her husbands, Walt Jentzen and Clem Wessendorf; a daughter, Nancy Lucas; 3 brothers; and 2 sisters.
Survivors include a son, Tony Jentzen of Monroe; a daughter, Bea Ellen Becker of Chattanooga; 8
grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; and several nephews and nieces. Pallbearers were Tony
Williams, Joe Jetter, Nathan Lucas, Tony Dale Jentzen, Steven Jentzen, and Keith Winter. Special care
provided by Speck Funeral Home

parents S. Hayden and Lola Crockett Stephens, a sister Zelda Lee ( b. 25 Mar 1933). Pallbearers;

Winningham, and Charlie Franklin.
Obituary in the Overton County News 16 Apr 2008 -- Funeral services for Mr. William Burton “Co-op”
Stephens, 73, of Jamestown, were conducted at 2 p.m. Monday, April 7, 2008, from the chapel of Mundy
Funeral Home with Rev. Ronald Whited officiating. Burial was in Eligeah Stephens Cemetery. Mr.
Stephens died Saturday, April 5 at his home. He was a veteran of the United States Army and a member
of the American Legion. He was born May 21, 1934. Survivors include his wife, Gaye Stephens of
Jamestown; a son, Kedith Stephens of Jamestown; a daughter, Susan Sidwell of Livingston; a brother,
Asburn Stephens of Banner Springs community; 2 sisters, Zeeta Stephens of Jamestown and Claudine
Gilreath of Cookeville; 4 grandchildren, Lance Stephens, Michael Davis, Keith Davis and Will Sidwell;
and a special friend, Donald “Duck” Winningham. Pallbearers were Kedith Stephens, Lance Stephens,
Michael Davis, Kenny Poore, Baxter French, Brian French, Josh Sidwell, Donald “Duck” Winningham,
and Charlie Franklin. Special care provided by Mundy Funeral Home.
