I have a great deal of information on John Alexander Rogers, Sr. and some of his children. I have cleared this lineage for a supplement to Thomas Aims, a Revolutionary War Hero, William Cocke III, a Revolutionary War Hero, and William Maclain, a Revolutionary War Hero for the Daughters of the American Revolution (DAR). I am currently working on the Fogery lineage which is the one Margaret Fogery (Rogers) his first wife--my lineage and Ellen Fogery (Rogers) his second wife, the sister of his first wife. I have original letters and manuscripts from his third wife and their daughter between John Alexander Rogers, Jr. who was active in the Revolution in Texas. I believe John Alexander Rogers, Sr. has a connection to this Revolution also.
The John Alexander Rogers, Sr. was the first supplement ever accepted by the DAR on this lineage. I have copies of original documents, and other information I am willing to share.
I am sure you have read about me on the board so I will just say I was born and raised in Del Rio, Texas. Currently, I am writting a series of six books on the families I am connected to and the near families I was raised around. They are in story form and documented as closely as I possibly can to the facts. I am willing to share research information with others and expect them to share with me. I will never use any information without the persons permission on living people and expect the same for my family if I give information.
