We share a common ancestry as Eliza Malvina ROGERS (Mrs. Frederick Bird Smith COCKE)is also a great.....grandmother.
I have an artical written by her son about the trip to Texas. It was published many years ago in the Kerrville paper as part of the history of the Cocke and Ridley families. Both are in my lineage.
