Rich, I don't know for sure but I believe that there may have been a property dispute.
Wilson VAUGHAN and Nancy BOWLIN VAUGHAN lived next to LEVI and MARY BOWLIN. We believe Nancy to be the daughter of LEVI and MARY. Wilson died abt 1837 and it appears that Nancy sold that property and moved to an adjacent property. Meanwhile that put Thomas RAINS on the property between Nancy and Levi.
