Hi Billy, from your reply I am assuming you have documents for your Levi BOWLIN. I don't have your surname. If it is BOWLIN have you taken a DNA test. If you have another surname it is also important to take a DNA test to see if your BOWLIN family falls within Group 5.

Having said that, please send your family register to me at onlyonephyl@aol.com or eperry4616@aol.com. Supporting documents, i.e., Wills, census dates, cemetery/ies, are very important to help you research your family.

We are researching many of these Group 5 families. We do know that many families went "south". My family went from TN to KY to IN.

Naming patterns are very important and, as we all know, carried forward thru many generations.
