I'm not a direct descendant. Mary Ann Morrisett married, first a great uncle Samuel Crockett, then when he died she amrried a Forest, then my great grandfather Theodore Laurence. She was his third wife. I followed the Morrisett line back for several cousins and because they migrated to Clay County, AR with the Crockett's and Laurence's from Humphreys County, TN. I have three Thomas Morrisett's: one the son of Jonathan Morrisett II and Polly Thomas. Then a Thomas II married to Betty Fenshaw and they had two sons Joseph and William. The Thomas II must be the son of the third Thomas. Perhaps you can clear this up. I'll be happy to send you my data.
