Don't know if you have what you need, but if not:

1900 U.S. Census, Scottsville, Allen Co., KY
21-Jun 1900

Thomas L. (Lewis) Speakman was still with first wife Mary 'Eddy' Emberton Speakman in 1900.
She died in 1903. Their children: Bessie, William, Alma, Mary, Frank, Thomas J. and Zelma.

Eddy died in 1903.

In Apr 1904, Thomas L. (Lewis) married 14 year-old Nancy Netherton (my g-grandmother). She was 4 years younger than his daughter Bessie. Talk about a family stink!! Actually, it never went away.
According to my grandmother (Vancie Speakman Griffin) and my great Aunt Addie Smoot, Bessie and Alma pretty much raised the other kids.
Thomas L. gave Zelma to Nancy to raise.

By the 1910 Overton Co., TN Census, Thomas L. and Nancy were living with Zelma and their daughters, Karen (Corrine?) and my grandmother Vancie Arlene (her legal name).
By 1920, the family is in Jasper, Walker Co., AL, two boys have been added (Benton and Howard) and Zelma, 21 years old by then, is not living with them. But I learned she never left Walker Co., AL. She remained there when the family returned to Putnam Co., TN (created from part of Jackson Co.) before 1930. Thomas L. died in 1930.

Thomas' children with Mary 'Eddy' Emberton:
Bessie Speakman married Jesse Young in 1904 in Jackson Co, TN. In the 1910 Civil Dist. 1, Jackson Co., TN Census her brother Frank Speakman is living with her.

William Cornelius Speakman, named after his grandfather, Cornelius (Neal) Emberton married a Juliet (last name unknown to me) in 1909, became a Brick Mason (like his father). They relocated to Franklin Co., OH before 1917, had at least 7 children there, and William died there in 1967.
Alma Speakman married Jesse Young's cousin, D.B. Young, in 1907. In the 1910 Civil Dist. 1, Jackson Co., TN Census her brother Thomas Joseph (referred to affectionately as 'Tommy, Jr.' though he was not a 'Jr.') is living with her.

Thomas J. Speakman died in Cookeville, Putnam Co., TN in 1987. From what I have been told, following the death of his mother when he was 6 years old, he lived with relatives other than Thomas L. and Nancy.

Haven't learned much that I can substantiate about Mary Speakman but I believe she is the 'Mary Speakman' who married A.H. McCain in 1914.

Frank Speakman died at the age of 31 in 1926 in a mining accident at the Sayre Mines in Jefferson County, Alabama, USA. I believe he had a wife named 'Ruby' but can't find record of that marriage.

Zelma Speakman died in Walker Co., AL in May 1992 at th age of 86 according to the U.S. Social Security Death Index. She either never married or took her maiden name back if she divorced. (Her 'little sister' Vancie died 20 years before her.) I wish I'd known about her sooner - I wouldn't attempted to contact her in person if I had. I continue to hunt down info on her.
