Feb. 27, 1903, d. Oct. 26, 1968 Indianapolis, IN) married Bessie Lee HUMPHREY (b. Oct. 22, 1906 Bluegrass, Knox Co., TN, d. May 1, 1934 Connersville, Fayette Co., IN)daughter of Joseph
McConnell HUMPHREY and Harriet Luticia MEDLIN January 31, 1920 in
Knoxville (R.N. ROUSE performed ceremony, marriage bond signed by James BOOHER). Joe HUMPHREY after Harriet's death, later married her sister, Aggie and had several more children in the Knoxville area. Can trace some of the MEDLINS and HUMPHREYS but have hit brick wall with James BOOHER. Any help appreciated. Where did Rouse have a church or was he Justice of Peace? Harriet Medlin is buried at Cedar Springs Cemetery. Joe Humphrey is said to be buried at Ebenezeer Cemetery.
