There was a friendless baby home first located on Woodbine and then a new building on Cecil Ave. My Dad, Donald Eugene Gentry 9/4/1927 is probably listed on the 1930 census for the home on Cecil Ave as Eugene Rutherford. Some potential that his older brother Melton Rutherford was there, if they were related. My Dad never knew he might have a brother and just recently died. If there is another family out there we would love to meet them. A friend found his name on the census. His bio mother might have had the first name Louise (we had thought the last name Richards/Richardson but census probably correct.)
