On October 3, 1836, Elizabeth Chumly was recorded in the Support of pauper-Apro Book 11-2, pg 174 for Knox County, Tennessee. Elizabeth is my GGGGreat Grandmother.

Does anyone know if paupers had to apply for the appropriation in the Pauper-Apro Book and, if so, how one can acquire a copy of a person's application?
