Trying to confirm the death date of John Thornton, who died ca. 1849 Rhea or Knox Co., Tn. He md. Nancy (Scott?) and together they had 10 children, including 3 sets of twins. John may have had a 2nd marriage (name unknown). He was son of Matthew Thornton of Campbell Co., Va. Did he leave a will, or is there any estate settlements, etc. to confirm his death? Thanks
