Thomas and Nancy VINES lived for a short time around 1820 in Lincoln Co., TN, where a couple of their children were born. They moved to Jefferson Co., AL, where they raised their family. Their son, William, born in Lincoln Co. in 1820, m. Jemima HIGGINS, from the Laurens Co., SC, family. There is evidence that some of the Higgins bunch moved to TN.
