Do you know anything about a Mary WEIR (or WARE or WEAR)
who married Joseph C. S. HOOD of McMinn Co. TN? They
migrated to Tyler, Smith Co. TX in 1851. Joseph died
in 1854. Mary might have remarried to a Mr. OLINGER
because, according to a history of that area of TX, Mary
was living with her daughter, Mary (HOOD) COWAN in Bell Co.
TX in 1893, and in the 1900 Bell Co. TX census the COWAN
household included a Mary OLINGER, mother-in-law.

Anyway, I'd love to learn more about this Mary and Joseph.
I'd appreciate any help you can give.
