VONNIE WALKER

Vonnie Catherine Smith Walker, 82, Clarksville, died Monday, Aug. 28, 2000, in Clarksville.

The funeral will be at 2 p.m. Thursday at Sykes Funeral Home with Bro. Tom Lynch officiating. Burial will be in Riverview Cemetery.

Visitation will be today from 4 p.m. until 8 p.m. and Thursday at noon until the hour of service at the funeral home.

She was born June 30, 1918, in Trigg County, Ky., daughter of Bejamin Joseph Smith and Lena Bagwell Smith. She was the widow of Monroe Walker.

Mrs. Walker was a homemaker and member of New Providence Church of Christ.

Survivors include a daughter, Freida Walker Borlund, Clarksville; and two grandchildren.

Pallbearers will be James Turner, B.J. Turner, Anthony Turner, Cleveland Turner, Gary Wallace and Gene Heard.
