Surnames: Wilson/Carpenter
Sarah J. Wilson, b. ca. 1821 VA., is listed in the 1880 Obion Co. census. Living with her are her four sons, all born Tennessee: William H., b. 1857; John b. 1859; Thomas b. 1864; Zacheus b. 1866. Also living with her is a grandson Luther b. 1874.
To whom had Sarah been married, and where was this family before 1880? William and Zacheus stayed in the county, but Sarah evidently died before 1900, and a lead on that date would be appreciated, also.
William H. Wilson married Agnes Carpenter, who is in my line.
