Surnames: GOSSETT, GASSETT, SMITH

"GOSSETT"
Zelotus GASSETT b:1798-SC/Margaret b:1799-SC married abt.1825-1830-"GREENVILLE CO,SC" they left SC.bet.1840-1850; they were Living in "POLK CO,`TN"1850, children listed were:
Phillip b:1832-SC, Washington-1838-SC,an Caldonia-1840 SC.. Also in the same area was a John GOSSETT b:1830-SC (I'm thinking this is also a son of Zelot's) working as a farm hand living with Isaac SMITH b:1797-VA.and family; This Isaac SMITH may be the same guy living in "UNION CO,SC"1840, as were several other GOSSETT's! Was this Isaac SMITH a brother to Margaret, the wife of Zelot GOSSETT? By 1860 Zelot must have died, his wife Margaret GOSSETT (a widow), also living there is daughter Caldonia GOSSETT and her 2 children,(Wm-3,& Margaret 3-months) in "TOWNS CO,GA." (It appears that a Caldonia M.GOSSETT married in 1868, too Sam A.McCORD in "HICKMAN CO,TN.")?
By 1880"POLK CO,TN" Caldonia GOSSETT has 3 more children Nancy-b:1874,Jacen-1877,an George W.
b:1880.
I think that John W.GOSSETT & wife Mary E.HANSARD and W.GOSSETT & wife Narcissus HANSARD of FLOYD CO,GA. may be Caldonia GOSSETT's brothers.
In 1820"GREENVILLE CO,SC" Zelotus GOSSETT b:1798 was living near a William GOSSETT b:bef.1774 an wife b:bef.1774,1 son,1 daughter age 10-16. WAS this Wm.GOSSETT,jr. and could he be Zelotus' father? by 1850 WM or Zelot GOSSETT are no longer in SC.(Wm. may have died sometime bet.1840/50-SC)
