Jarvis Henry Poole was my G-Grandfather. He was born in South Carolina to Nicholas Poole and Rebecca Louise Gibson. Rebecca Gibson's father was Hugh Gibson; her mother was Louisa ? ( she died early on amd Hugh remarried Diana?.) Hugh Gibson's father was Jarvis (Gervais) Gibson. Hugh's mother was Bethia Mc Donald daughter of Hugh Mc Donald and Rebecca Erwin (Spelling?) If you research these GGG Grandparents online, you should find Hugh McDonald's will which is quite interesting. The McDonald's lived in Chester County, SC. GG grandfather Jarvis Gibson lived in neighboring Fairfield County and possible later on in Chester County. I still continue to search for the Poole side of the family in SC but I've yet to find Nicholas Poole's parents. Hope this is helpful and understandable.
