PULLON, IDA MAE CAMPBELL SAMMONS BLOUNTVILLE -- Ida Mae Sammons Pullon, 76, of 370 Ellis Road, died Friday, Oct. 16, 1998, at her home. She was a native of the Holston Valley section of Sullivan County, a homemaker and a member of the former Trinity Baptist Church. She was the widow of her first husband, David H. Sammons, and her second husband, Cecil W. Pullon. Survivors include a daughter, Velma Poore, Kingsport; five sons, David Harold Sammons, San Angelo, TX, Charles J. Sammons, Donald E. Sammons and Earl E. Sammons, all of Blountville, and Paul A. Sammons, Gray; a stepdaughter, Kay Lake, Richmond, IN; two sisters, Myrtle Sammons, Blountville, and Helen Carter, Kingsport; three brothers, Charlie Campbell, Joe Campbell and Carl Campbell; 13 grandchildren; ten great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
