Two John Horns in 1830 and 1840 Sullivan Co. censuses

There are two John Horns in the 1830 and the 1840 Sullivan County censuses.

The John Horn, in the 1830 census 01102001-00110001, and in the 1840 census 000110001-000000001, is the John Horn who married Catharine Pence on January 18, 1800 in Rockingham, Virginia. This John Horn’s will, from June 11, 1857, names his children as Charles Horn, George Horn, Benjamin Horn, John Horn, Polly Jones, Sarah Lorts and Pence Right.

The John Horn, in the 1830 census 1100001-1122001, and in the 1840 census 01020001-00101001, is unknown to me. I believe he could be the father of Jacob Horn, who is in the 1850 Sullivan County census, aged 27, married to Jane, and he could also be the father of John Horn. I believe this Jacob Horn and younger John Horn ended up in Howard County, Indiana. They can both be found on the find-a-grave website, Jacob, 1825 – August 3, 1899, and John, Sept. 11, 1823 – June 24, 1900.

Is anyone familiar with this second John Horn family?
