Surnames: MAYES, PERDUE. HOBDY, HILL, PIRKLE, HARGISS/HARGESS
I have photos of the following Mayes and Perdue families:
1. Photo of Marcus Bates Perdue, 1859-1921, (son of Marcus A. and Mary Perdue), and his wife Nannie HOBDY, 1866-1895. Photo includes most of their children.
2. Photo of Henry Cornelius Mayes, 1856-1931, (son of James Thompson Perdue and Nancy PIRKLE), and his wife Eliza HOBDY, 1858-1924. Photo includes most of their children.

NOTE - I am NOT a Perdue or Mayes descendant.
Eliza HOBDY Mayes and Nannie HOBDY Perdue were sisters of my great grandmother Hattie HOBDY HILL.
These sister were the daughters of William Donalson HOBDY and Rebecca Ann HARGISS/HARGESS
