Surnames: Ford, Rollin, Rowland
I am researching John W. Ford, the TN newspaper editor who lived in Warren County for some time. He served as Postmaster between 1845–1850 in McMinnville. It maybe that his wife's name is Elizabeth Rowland and that her family lived in Warren Co. with them. The Fords moved to Hamilton Co. around 1850; then moved back to Warren Co. abt 1870.

The following are the basic facts about John W. Ford. I have a good deal of information about his work and public life. Any leads on family connections would be appreciated. Thanks in advance, Pam

(Florence is living with RW & Eliza Jennie Ellis in 1860 in Newton, Neosha, Mo. in 1860 census. So, Florence is likely a granddaughter. Jennie is identified as the daughter of John W. Ford in her obituary, and he is in her household in 1880. She was married in 1846, so she never appears by name in the Ford household census records.)
