Thanks for the info on the other Thomas Broyles. I had my doubts about that being the right headstone.
I was thinking for now that I would just drop this inquiry, as the thread is getting rather long. I appreciate everyone's help, but it appears it's going to take more of an in-depth search than can be accomplished online.
HOWEVER, I noticed something today while checking some of my other, older Broyles references. I took a look at the Rootsweb hosted "Germanna Colonies" site (which I've visited before) and noticed a reference to "Sgt. George" for anyone wanting to include more info.
You wouldn't happen to be that Sgt George, would you? If so, I'd like to follow up with some other Broyles questions, if you don't mind. I'm trying to locate some of my old research contacts. Perhaps they would be familiar to you, if you are involved in researching the whole Broyles family.
