I found Amanda's marriage record to Joseph Hollingsworth, She is listed as a Owens not Burcham. So if that is the case she is the step-daughter to William McCarty Burcham.
Who is her father---Owens. Her mother is Mary Elizabeth----------Owens. Whom did Mary Elizabeth marry before she married William in Tennessee/ North Carolina.Or did she have Amanda as a unmarried woman.

I know that Washington Co is very close to Surry, North Carolina and at one time was part of North Carolina. That might be where they are from.
