DAVIDSON, William Lee--Possibly lived on or near Nolichucky River. NC Land Grant #1029, 305 acres, dated 12/26/1791. This was perhaps not the Wm. Davidson that was the Rev. War Col., but another. The Col. was born 1736 in Scotland or VA, lived possibly in VA, SC, NC, & TN. (Greene, Washington, Knox, Anderson, Roane, and Morgan), and died Lancing (previously Kismet), Morgan County, TN, in 1833. Probably served at King's Mountain and War of 1812.
