According to what I pulled on ancestry.com trees and googling, Josiah Charles White was the first son of John Wortham White and first wife Lacy Fowler. Three children with that wife, then a slew with his second wife (her sister).

Does this not make sense or fit in with your info? I guess I should go look at your tree. Any sources you can point me towards are much appreciated.
BTW my husband is the White descendent and he did a paternal DNA test - results attached to my tree. - Lori ldomel@aol.com
