Wilson County Tennessee
In the name of God amen. I Alcy Wray being sound in mind tho afflicted in body and believe from the cours of nature that I must shortly die and being desirous to divide my estate that the Lord has blessed me with among my three children, Jane Eagan the wife of Hugh Eagean, Willis Wray, Joseph Wray, and Ann Wray & Emily Wray my grand daughters, the daughters of my son Joseph Wray, the above named children and grandchildren having taken care of me in my latter days, in a particular manner I feel it my duty to commit to writing this my las Will and Testament in the following manner, to wit, I give and bequeath to my daughter Jain Eagean a Brown horse, fifty dollars in money. I give to my grand daughters Ann Wray & Emily Wray, Joseph Wray's daughters a feather bed apiece and furniture I also give to my above named children Jane Eagean, Willis Wray and Joseph Wray equally a negro woman named Lydia and my stock of Hogs and one cow & calf. The negro woman Lydia and the hogs and cattle to be sold and the proceeds thereof equally divided between the above named three children, Jane Eagean Willis Wray & Joseph Wray. I appoint my Son in law Hugh Eagan Executor of this my last will and testament. I also appoint my Son in law Hugh Eagean an agent to receive Joseph Wrays part of the above named Estate and dispose of it to the support of his family. In witness whereof I have hereunto set my hand and seal this 9th day of February 1835.

Wilson County County Court March Term 1835
The last will and Testament of Alcy Wray dsc was exhibited in open Court & fully proven by the oaths of Elisha Vaughan & William W. Eagean subscribing witnesses thereto and is ordered by the Court to be recorded. And thereupon Hugh Eagean the within named Executor was qualified to execute the same according to law and entered into bond with security good and sufficient according to law. Whereupon It is ordered by the Court that letters Testamentary issue to him on said Estate.
