I was just in Wilson Co,. TN over the weekend. I photographed the home of Martha Major/Matthew Turner on Poplar Hill Rd. My grandmother, who remembers being there as a child, showed us which one it is.
From the Major Family Bible, I have Henry A. Major and Francine Louisa Donnell (Major, Wynne, Phillips) as her parents. I believe Henry's father was Samuel son of John.
Please do pass along any Major family clues as I really don't know where to go from here either.
