Surnames: Cartwright McCutcheon
My Gr.Gr. Grandmother was Martha L Cartwright born 1814-1815 Tn.She married James McCutcheon of Humbolt Tn.
They migrated to Tx. abt. 1846 Harrison Co.
Their oldest son Alfred DeLoach McCutcheon married Amanda Cartwright, Robert Grimmer Cartwright's daughtet in San Augustine Co.Amana was raised by her Uncle Mathew Cartwright
her parents died when Amanda and her brother were very young. Amanda's children James and Mary were also raised by the Cartwrights when as they died quite young.
My gr grandmother told us Martha Cartwright McCutcheon her mother , was related to the Tx. Cartwrights but she did not know if it was Jesse Hunter Cartwright or John Cartwright
I am tryng to find which group Martha may have been from.
