I have a Rev. John Douthit Jr. B; 4-10-1740 Maryland D: 6-9-1813 SC married Mary Eleanor Davis. She was born 4-4-1741 NC and died 3-26-1806 NC. They had 10 children.

James Marion Douthit born 1-14-1832 died unknown married Malissa Ann Parker, she was born 7-20-1824 AL and died 5-22-1892 TX. They had 6 children.

If this matches what you have, I have a pretty good file on their ancestors. My tree started at Elrod and the Douthit family married in and out and ended up being my line too so I did a file on them too. I can take the Douthit tree back to Robert Andrew Douthit born 1683 in Ireland. Hope this helps.
