Well, I was a bit sloppy in my linking, it appears. I have in my Rowe Bible that Manerva E. Rowe was married to Charles D. "Duck" Kelley in August 1860 and I did find their descendants in San Jacinto (by way of Dona Kelley's death certificate, no less!). I believe the E in her name must stand for Elizabeth. There was a sister named Elizabeth but I don't believe she made it to Texas from Alabama.
