Willing to do lookups

Hi,

I am in the Killeen area and I am willing to help anyone who might need help in the Bell County area. I can take cemetery pictures, pictures of areas, filming of cemeteries, etc. I frequently go to Bartlett, Tx also, by way of Salado and Jarrell. I am also frequently in Belton and Temple, and go through Harker Heights and Nolanville quite often. I can look through the Killeen newspaper archives at the library also.

Amy

Hi Amy,
I would be ever grateful for some lookups! These family members are listed in the Bell county cemetery transcriptions online. I would love cemetery photos, or copies of any existing records on these folks. Of course I am happy to pay for the cost of same.
LANDERS, Taliathia A. dau. of W.T. and V.C. LANDERS, Oct 15 1882-July 28 1898
Bertie Fay Landers Porter 1885-1947and her husband Mark Porter 1867-1947are buried next to her.
I am also trying to find out who the first wife of Mark Porter may have been, as well as a marriage date for he and Bertie,
but that's a story for another day!

Dear Amy, Could you please look up the death notices or orbituaries of my ggrandparents, Rev. John "Sam Houston" Wheeler and his wife, Julaney/Gelaney Elizabeth Lowry Wheeler of Rosebud, and then Belton, Texas turn of the century to 1930 or before? I have no knowledge when they passed away. You can email me directly. jelaine22001@yahoo.com. I know my grandmother, Laverta Wheeler was married in Aug. 1916 /17 to Roscoe Q. Ferguson. She was very ill at the time. I believe the children's names were Ed, Roy, Laverta, Katherine, Marvin, Leon, and Emma.
Thank you. Elaine I'll owe you one. I would start around 1915.

Amy, I saw on the Bell Co. Website that you sometimes do lookups when you are able. I would appreciate it, since I live way up here in Virginia, if when you are looking you could see if there is a record of my grandparents marriage. Please don't go to any major trouble. Their names were Lillie (Lilly) Emma Hambrick and Charles Edward Wellhausen. They married in Belton in either 1900 or 1901. If you would need to be reimbursed for your time I will be glad to do that. Please let me know. Thank you very much, Charlene Mann

Amy,
Please erase my request as JR gave me the info I asked for. I had the info but had not checked. What I really need is a copy of their certificate and I can write and request that. But thanks anyway.
Charlene

Hello my name is Emily Haire and I saw where you were kind enough to help someone once and was hoping you might could help me.I am trying to trace my family tree but have no money to pay for access to census etc.I saw the below information on a website and wondered if I could get additional information from the actual census.

Digby, Guy
Age: 30 Year: 1920
Birthplace: Texas Roll: T625_1776
Race: White Page: 7B

State: Texas ED: 25

County: Bell Image: 918

Township: Belton
But I had thought that the family lived in Barlett Tx.
I believe this to be my grandfather.I believe his father was
Martin Van Buren Digby and his mother was Elmira Tennessee Barnes.I believe at the time he was married to my grandmother Pinina Jane Jackson and my mother should have been born Mary Alice. But I am not sure if this is him.Can you be of any help?
Thank You

Am interested in getting photos of tombstones of my ancestors buried in McCann Cemetery in Bell County. Austin M. Flippo died April 11, 1939. His second wife Ben Ida Flippo who died Oct. 6, 1951 is supposed to be buried there also. His first wife was L. Alice Flippo but I am not sure where she is buried. Am willing to pay costs incurred.
