Hi.

My name is Mats Alm and I am looking for an ancestor of mine who moved to North America in 1883. His name is Carl A. Hultqvist, born in Bringetofta or Vrigstad in Jönköpings län, Småland, Sweden March 23rd 1861.
He arrives in New York with the ship Baltic April 14th 1883. In the passenger list I can read that his destination is La Porte but I don't know if it is La Porte in Indiana or La Porte in Texas which is referred. I have looked pages up and down in my search for this person and I found a Carl A. Hultqvist who died in Bexar May 3rd 1951. Could this be my ancestor? He would have been over 90 years old if it was. Is there any possibilities to get some help from you, or can you please help me to get in touch with a person who can help me with this matter?
