David Lewis Family Missing 1860-1870 Census

Classification: Query
David Lewis born ca. 1804 KY married Sarah Ann Hardisty 10 Oct 1843 in Franklin, MO. By 1860, the family included nine children (some that were born in Blanco County ca. 1860-1870). The youngest may have been Thomas Daughton (T D) Lewis born 16 Feb 1860 per online death certificate? T. D.'s older brother George Washington Lewis was born 16 Nov 1844 in Jefferson, MO. G. W.'s daughter Sophronia was born ca. 1867/8 in Blanco and that's evidence the entire family relocated as a unit. Blanco County was created 12 Feb 1858 from: Burnet, Hays, Gillespie, and Comal. I have been unable to locate a U. S. Federal Census for 1860 Blanco. The 1870 Census is scant and may not be representative of the entire county? Are there local family histories available?
