Classification: Query
Surnames: Smith, Howell, Barron, Berry
Any connection with the William B. Smith listed in the 1860 Henderson County, Texas census (P.74, dwelling 480, Precinct 4; Post office is uncertain from my notes, but
may be Science Hill or Malaki). The Howells in the household are my relatives and they have many Bosque County connections. An older woman in the househod whose name I have as Sarah Barron. Could be Berry?

Also, a William Smith (also called Camelback and Uncle Willie) and family were probably early members of the Bosque Baptist Church at Iredell. Founded Aug. 1868 by Rev. G.W. Roberts. (from "A history of the Baptists at Iredell, Texas" by D.D. Tidwell. Griffin Graphic Arts, 2408 Roger Williams Drive, Irving, Tx 75060.
