Surnames: Terry/Brown/Walker/Connally
My great grandmother, Tabitha Ann Brown, was born January 24, 1854, Bryan, Brazos County, Texas. Daughter of Andrew Booker (Ruffin) Brown, b.abt. 1826, North Carolina and Martha Unk. b. 1830, North Carolina.

Walker Globe Mortuary Records, Globe, Gila County, Arizona.
1870 Census, Brazos County, Texas, Post Office, Bryan, Page 85, Image 169.

Tabitha Ann Brown married Duncan Lewis Terry 1875, Fannin County, Texas,

Duncan Lewis Terry, b. June 29, 1850, Murray County, Georgia; d. before 1900. Son of Joseph Lewis Terry, b. March 12, 1814, Pendelton, South Carolina; and Dovina (Dovey)Walker, b. August 07, 1822, Catawba County, North Carolina. Married December 05, 1839, Murray County, Georgia.

Sometime after the 1870 Census, Georgia, Joseph and Dovina went to Brazos County, Texas and supposedly lived in that area for the rest of their lives. Joseph was a baptist preacher. They supposedly owned land in that area.

Their youngest daughter, Martha Missouri Terry, b. April 01, 1858, Murray County, Georgia, should have married in this area.

Their second oldest daughter, Mary Ellen Terry Connally, married Jones Connally, 1863, Brazos County, Texas. Jones Connally was the brother of Mary Ellen's first husband, Nathaniel E. Connally, who was killed in the Civil War. These are the ancestors of Senator Thomas Connally.

If you have any information on any of these people, I would truly appreciate your help.
